“you look crazy” ~ sister silva to me, every day.

seriously though family, i am SO HAPPY ALL THE TIME & there's not even any reason to be! except for like, you know, the restored gospel of Jesus Christ & His Atonement & the Book of Mormon & temples & being a missionary & Christmas lights & things like that.......... :) :) :)  but seriously.  SO HAPPY.  it's weird. :) :)

so this week we had family home evening with the k & i love them, & i sent a picture home of them. and i love them. like how even do i love them so much, i'm not sure. they're just CUTE and i want to give my whole life to helping them live the gospel & be happy. more or less. :) :) :) land of happy, i tell ya. it's appletown wisconsin.

also, i learned something from the story of hagoth. i'm determined to learn something from every page of the Book of Mormon but Alma 63 had me stumped for a while....... so i asked my good friend sister maynard and she got a little distracted talking about the mississippi river and such BUT  i did feel the Spirit enlighten my mind and teach me about using my talents as directed by the Lord to bless others & preparing the way for others & lovely things like that :) :) everything in there is there for a reason! love it :) :)

also, on THURSDAY i got a package that MADE MY ENTIRE LIFE seriously i was like way to happy & excited about it...... i was like yelling in the car hahaha #whatever :) :) :) but anyways, I LOVE THE LOWER LIGHTS & david archuleta and i'm SO SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) i love music that i love because it makes me want to share it with everyone and that is how the gospel is too so it's a perfect reminder :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) THANK YOU. we've been listening to it non-stop since thursday hahaha :) :) :) :) :)

in other news, friday it snowed. but just a little bit. and then it mostly melted. and then today it snowed again. and saturday was the coldest day of anyone's life, i'm pretty sure. SO. SO. SO. SO. FREEZING. but it's all good. we're just doin our missionary thang anyways :) :) :) also the sunsets at like 4:30. not a problem. we keep on going :) :) :)

also at restore they took a picture of us for their facebook so if you go to the appleton restore facebook page you MIGHT see a picture of your favorite sister missionaries..........? haha just sayin :) :)

also, HOLY CANNOLI I NEED TO LEARN SPANISH. ayuda me! no habla espanol!!! i'm trying so hard to learn but i keep getting the words for eggs, youth, and thursday mixed up. not a happy story. and all the spanish-speaking missionaries are like "you're weird and crazy" yeah i know, but i need to help these people!!!!

so we brought someone who ACTUALLY speaks spanish with us to help me teach my friends m and "f" (i started calling him that because i didn't actually know his name because he told me it in spanish and I DON'T SPEAK SPANISH but it turns out his name is actually j.") :) and IT WAS AN ADVENTURE. turns out, j has questions. GOOD questions. bueno preguntas, you could say. ;) preguntas like, how do prophets know that God is calling them and not el diablo? (the devil.) well shoot son, i could maybe answer that in english but espanol es muy muy deficil sooo....... we'll keep workin on it hahaha. translation makes things fun :) :) like we told him that the young men (jovenes????) bless the sacrament and he was like "what do you mean they bless it?? doesn't God bless it???" and i was like ugggghhhhhh languageeeeee!!!!!!!!! but it's all good because GUESS WHAT. he told us that m has been telling him that she feels so good when we come over, she feels peace & all, and he'd been anxious all day because he knew we were coming over and he wanted to see if he could feel that way too. "............. well do you??" "yes, i feel good." SCORE TEN THOUSAND POINTS FOR THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF THE SPIRIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) looooooooooove it :) :) :) :) :)

so that was a good time.

in other news, appleton stake conference happened and i loved it. all the missionaries in the appleton zone were invited to the adult session because it was all about hastening the work and i loved it!! :) :) :) the cutlers spoke and they are just so cute. i just love everyone and seeing everyone i love & meeting all these people to love & being a missionary is the greatest thing ever i don't want it to stop i love the wisconsin milwaukee mission :) :) :) :) :) and everything. amen.

also, the p gave us a ride and we sang hymns in the car the whole way back from neenah :) :) brother p would just start em over & over, hymn after hymn hahah he doesn't know all the words but he loves them and i loved it and i want to be just like them when i am older :) :) :)

also, it should be a truth universally acknowledged that promptings come when we're on the move. always follow the Spirit always. amen. :) :) :) looooove it. PMG -- "you WILL succeed in your work as you learn to receive & follow personal revelation." recipe for success? yes please :) :)

so i'm probably getting really annoying right about now but i'm JUST SO HAPPY it's ridiculous. i don't even understand it. it is weird.

things that i love:

- s (who is 10 and  sometimes like to swear at us and likes to hit me and threatened me with a roll of toilet paper once) said the prayer last night!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) so so so so good :) :)

- my successful snowflakes <3 we pick one every night that we did well that day, and one to focus on for the next day :) :)

- alma 26:1-2. President K asked us to reflect on and take inventory of blessings we've received because of the Atonement. also, Moroni 7:22 (last bit) every good thing in my life is from Christ :) :) :) and i'm just happy!! sooo happy!!! not like EVERY minute of every day but overall..... yes. i am happy. because this is the gospel of happiness and peace and that comes through Jesus Christ. holy cannoli what a great day is every day that we have this gospel :) :) :) love it.

in other news, happy thanksgiving!!!!!!! we'll be spending it with a few different member families and i'm excited :) :) i wish i could remember this one quote that i used two thanksgivings ago about how the way we live is a true measure of our gratitude.... or something..... whatever. oh well.

also, merry Christmas season!!!!!!! these are my ideas so far for missionary Christmas land:

- go caroling to your friends & neighbors with the missionaries

- go caroling WITH your friends & neighbors & the missionaries... to an old-folks home or rehabilitation center or something :) :)

- have friends over for hot cocoa & cookies & a Christmas message by the missionaries.... you can pick if it's a Bible Christmas message or a Book of Mormon Christmas message :) :)

that's all i got so far.......... i'll keep thinkin :) oh! the W are taking "thanksgiving baskets" to their neighbors & inviting them & us to a Christmas program at their house because they all are ridiculously talented so they do that kind of thing. it shall be lovely :) :)

i love you, family!!!! i am sooooooo grateful for you..... seriously. i realize more & more each day how BLESSED i am to be a part of this family. i took it wayyy to much for granted. you are actually the greatest. the gospel of Jesus Christ BLESSES FAMILIES. a ridiculous amount. I AM SO HAPPY and it is 100% because of Jesus Christ.

also, i think i'm up to 99.6%. ;)

I LOVE YOU. i love this gospel. i love being a missionary. i love my Savior so so much. I. AM. SO. HAPPY.

i love you forever (thanks to Jesus Christ) :) :) :)

love!!!!!!!!  Xoxoxoxo     sister cece proffit :) :) :)

also -- "the missionary next door - sharing the gospel with your friends" by d h h. they gave it to us at zone conference (it's by a sister in this mission) and it's awesome. i'm trying to make you a copy of it but we'll see............. anyways it's awesome :) :) love you!!!

i never want to live anywhere that doesn't have a woodman's and isn't in the appleton 2nd ward soooo.....

looks like i'm moving to appleton!! you can all come visit me here come april. it's a lovely place. you will love it here :) :)

no but seriously. i love this ward too much. and woodman's is a MAGICAL land of food that i'm NOT sure i can live without. also culvers. & toms. & mostly woodmans'. #lovewisconsin #toomuch? #nevertoomuch :) :) :)

this week was lovely. the weeks always are. do i have to come home in april? i vote not.

conversation on halloween:

sister k: "so when does your mission end?"

me: "NEVER!"

"..... okay but when do you go home."

".... april :("

that's pretty much how it goes around here hahaha. :) :) so i never want to be transferred ever (story of my life) and this ward is the greatest ever. i'm pretty sure there are 4 amazing wards in wisconsin and i've served in all of them. they are the greatest. and actually i was kind of homesick on friday (i'll tell you WHY in a second!!) and of course the time comes to come home but............. i just really love wisconsin okay????????? #thingsineverthoughtidheardmyselfsay #seemyselftype #whatever :) :)

okay this is why i was homesick. friday at restore-land my friend p (i love my friend p! he cracks me uppp) put in an album and what was it?? THE AVETT BROTHERS.

family.  i forgot how much i love this band...... those are missionary songs, right??????

jk jk. but i really love that band hahaha. i knew me and phil were true friends!!!!!!!!!

so that made me a bit homesick. and other stuff probably. but i am still happy :) :) :) one year!! so crazy. i love you, family! why do we always end letters with love, instead of starting them that way? #ponderthat.

okay i'm a weirdo. what else is new............ oh, my sincere apologies to everyone i've neglected to write back over the past like..... month or 3 hahaha. i'm working on it!!!!!!! i've resolved to write SO many letters today so hopefully i will get one to you soon and just know that letters light up my life :) :)

okay. in other news, zone conference! was wonderful :) highlights --- a testimony from a member who joined as an adult several years ago. um can you say spiritual overload?? yes i can. notes: -- no other book has the same promise as the Book of Mormon (moroni 10:3-5). -- our commission is to PREACH. (mark 16:15) not convert or anything else. -- no one you ever talk to is not a beneficiary of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. -- i know that the Book of Mormon has changed your life.

family, have i already talked about how amazing the Book of Mormon is?? i have?? well here it comes again.......... I DIDN'T KNOW all the things that i know that have changed my life and shaped me and helped me to be happy come from the Book of Mormon!!! i thought people just knew that........... oooohhh family. oh how everybody needs this book at the truth it contains!!!!!!! let's share it, okay? :) :) challenge: find a doctrine in the Book of Mormon that has changed your life. and then share it with me :) :) :)

other thing that is true that i knew but it just clicked this week how simple & perfect it is:

God loves us perfectly, so He wants what's best for us. God has all wisdom, so He knows what's best for us. and God has all power, so He can make all things work together for our good...... if we let Him :) :) :) so awesome, right??? love that :) :)

an update on my friends: sister m is doing AWESOME and has probably the best home teachers of all time. so what else is new with this ward.......... of course they're awesome. brother d (her home teacher who sent his kids to help her friend move which of course they did even though it was their vacation time and it was like... a sketchy house way out in kaukauna hahaha) is TEXTING her EVERY NIGHT to follow up on how her Book of Mormon reading is going & how her addiction recovery is going.

THAT is true home teaching my friends!!! that is more than a 15 minute visit once a month. that is being a true undershepherd. :) :) :) sooooooo good. loooooove it :) :) :) also, she's doing great. she got a blessing and is reading and it's just so so lovely :) :)

and K K who i love with all my heart............ CAME TO CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! yesssssssss it was soooooo good to see her there :) :) :) she is reading a verse a day from the Book of Mormon (apparently there's an app for that.....) and she had an awesome job interview with time warner cable (yesss..... we practically pushed her out the door to that one haha but she went!! hooray!!) AND she went to addiction recovery on thursday. yayyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! oh k. i love you with my whole heart. you remind me so much of me haha :) :) :) I JUST LOVE HER AND ALL THE HUMANS OF APPLETON PRETTY MUCH. they are the greatest........... as usual. :) :) :)

other news: the d are great. we had dinner there and i laughed harder than i have in a looooooong time. long time hahaha. they have two teenage boys who remind me SO MUCH of my brothers it was ridiculous & hilarious. soooooooooo fun. chuck norris jokes forever. :) :)

also, we went to go talk to the beehive president about my recent convert friend named c who is a beehive...... and of course she is awesome. she's 13 and she's awesome. she's like "yeah i've been thinking about her and praying about it, and i think this would help her to feel more welcome" etc etc etc. what?????? who even are you............... the rising generation. i tell ya. so ridiculously awesome. also a c was there (she's the beehive advisor) and she is the best. as usual. as always. whatever. LOVE HER. :) :) :) so that was awesome.

saturday was lovely..... we taught some cute little kiddies in the morning and decorated a CHRISTMAS tree!! :) :) :) our friend sister z had her great-grandkids over and they have not been raised in gospel-centered homes....... not at all. so we broke out my gospel art book (best present ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and flipped though the pictures of Christ and asked them what they saw and talked about it and it was sooooooooo good!!!!! i felt like this video http://www.lds.org/bible-videos/videos/suffer-the-little-children-to-come-unto-me?lang=eng which is a good feeling cause it's a video of Christ ;) haha. but yes. it was lovely. and i realized that sooo many people don't know what we know!! they don't know about Jesus Christ, that He lived & died & lives again for them and that He is the way to be happy!!!!!! sooooooooo we gotta tell people. so that they can tell their kids. because kids who don't know become teenagers & young adults who don't know, and i'm not sure how anybody is supposed to survive that time of life without knowing that they are a child of God who loves them.... that someone (Jesus Christ) is there for them. Someone who loves them & knows what's best & can help them. All love, all wisdom, all power. it's real!!! and kids need to know :) :) soooooo i love that. teach all the children!! we will be later this week :) :) :) wiiiiiiiiith my friends from the primary, of course :) :) and my handy-dandy picture book!! hooray!! :) :) also --- i just HAPPENED to grab a couple of cds i'd made earlier of primary songs, i literally never carry them around but i just grabbed them that morning and did i give each little boy a cd? you betcha i did :) :) take it home, feel the Spirit. boom.

also, best referral ever from isaiah, age 6, after looking through the Jesus pictures. "Yeah, you can come teach my class at school this! my teacher, and all my friends!" that's the spirit :) :) :) love it.

also sister silva has pointed out that i used smileys and hearts instead of punctuation.

this is true.   it's whatever :) :) :

also, something else that is true: revelation comes when we're driving in the car, not sitting in the apartment. how unfortunate...... my apartment is warmer hahaha. but this is a truth! God can't steer a parked car :) :)

what else is true....... oh. this is true: our neighbor listens to SAIL by awolnation very loudly at aproximately 11-11:30pm every night. it's quite enjoyable.....

truth: apparently i'm referred to as a "lady" now, instead of a girl. "ask that lady" etc. #old #yearmark

truth: matthew 25:34-40

that is the scripture of yesterday <3 <3 we weren't planning on it (since when do our plans ever actually happen.......) but the P'S (who i love and want to be exactly like) came over to drop something off for us and then were like "hey we're gonna go visit this member in the hospital, wanna come?" um obviously yes. so we did. and oh, family. it was so spiritual. soooo touching. so sacred. i'll just tell you the gist of it.... basically, we brought him church.

1) i am so grateful for mom & dad forcing/encouraging us to sing all the hymns and learn to play the piano.

we went and chatted a bit, asked him how he's doing, sang a few hymns, and then his home teachers showed up (one of who is recent convert j k who.... you guessed it..... I LOVE) and they brought him the sacrament. and we sang the sacrament hymn of the day, "I stand all amazed" and he just cried and cried. and then brother k knelt and blessed the sacrament just for him. and it was like i'd never heard the sacrament prayers before. oh. my goodness. i can't even describe it. i wish i could. 3 ne 17:17. anyways..... it was glorious. and then we sang some more hymns. and had a prayer. and it was beautiful.

and then brother p was like "did you gals sing with the mormon tabernacle choir before your mission?? let's go sing to some more people!!" so we got the zone leaders permission and we just went hymn-caroling to people all afternoon long. AND IT WAS GLORIOUS. oh my friends. how the gospel blesses lives :) :) :) i. love. people. i love faithful people who have such a long rich life full of faith :) :) :) it inspires me. the p are amazing, seriously. he has the best smile of my life and i need a picture of it before i get transferred. married for 43 years, sealed for 40. introduced to the church by a co-worker :) :) :) LOVE IT.

so that's pretty much been the week!! i don't ever want to leave appleton...... i've had that musical about gethsemane, "the garden" stuck in my head all week and i really want to listen to it..... and i love church! and i love the gospel!! and it's making me & all my friends here so so happy!! sooooooooo......... let's share it with everyone :) :) k? k :) :) :)

i love this missionary life

i love all of you

i love appleland

i love the Book of Mormon

i love temples (i want to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i love the plan of salvation

oh!!! i taught a lesson almost all in spanish on friday. well i didn't really teach in spanish. i tried. we brought a member who speaks spanish haha and i used all my spanish words and then just testified in english. but i understood like 65% of what was going on!! hooray!! :) :) :) so that was fun :) :)

but anyways yes. the gospel maketh me happy :) :) :)

i. love. this. life.

& i love you so so much :) :) hooray for Jesus Christ & His restored gospel!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

love love love              sister cece proffit :) :)   xoxoxoxoxoxoxox

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/images/cleardot.gif

wow sorry that is like... the world's longest novel haha :) :)

xoxo

also, i'd like to issue a formal apology for the ATROCIOUS spelling & grammar in my letters as of late. i just get really excited??? it's embarrassing...... whatever :) :)

ALSO -- we're teaching this friend of mine in spanish (do i speak spanish?? nope! whatever, not a problem) and she texted us alllll in spanish about why she didn't come to church and i'm so confused and i'm busting out the spanish-english dictionary we have but there's so many typos and conjugations that i don't know so all i basically get is "plums" ........... so i fwd the text to a spanish-speaking member who says "I am not making this up!! She says she drank too much prune juice last night and it hit her hard this morning. lol!!" hahhahaa. i love members? yes i do. :) :) :) HAVE AN AWESOME WEEK!!! beware mucho jugo de ciruela!! (or something.....) :) :) :)

love you so much!!!!!!!!!!!

:) :) :)

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

so apparently i'm a spitfire.......?

that's what sister silva said she's heard about me hahaha. so wooooooo-hooooo whatever that means........ hahaha :) :)

this week has been so so great!! i have so many things to tell you!!! hopefully i remember them all....

FIRST of all, things i forgot from last week:

ordering a pizza on monday while we were at the church. pizza man: "what's the first name?" me: "Sister." "sister?" "....yes." "okay...... and is this address a private home or an apartment?" "it's a church..." and then he just started laughing hahahaha. #goodtimes #goodpizza :) :)

also, M H FROM EVANSTON. is the elder's quorum president here!!!! and he says he knows y'all. whaaaat????? also, he is AWESOME. like the greatest eqp of all time. it's whatever. :) :)

okay. that's it.

THIS week....... oh goodness. too many things.

so on MONDAY i was thinking about what dad was talking about with setting goals & stuff, & i wrote about it a lot in my journal & then just took a picture of that journal page & sent it to you haha because that's easier :) :) but basically, sister silva & i had a lot of fun coming up with our vision goals & applications for the transfer. i like it because it gives us a why and a how so it's not impossible & you actually want it :) :) fun times in mission life! :)

also. my friends. i've been thinking about them a lot (my mission friends who i serve & try to help.) & this is something that came into my mind -- how would you live if you really knew that this was the plan of happiness???

think about that. i have been. it's cool :)

also, other things. I am on a mission. a mission to do what? a mission to bring JOY :) :) and it makes me so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are 5 things that i need every human to understand.

1. your Heavenly Father loves you

2. because He loves you, He wants you to have joy

3. because He loves you, He has given you directions for living joyfully

4. these directions are centered on His Son Jesus Christ, who also loves you, & whose atoning sacrifice makes all things possible.

5. follow the directions. live joyfully. amen.

that is basically my message. FRIENDS. listen up & be happy :) :) :)

so also, i love wisconsin & the humans here more than i ever ever ever ever ever thought possible. alma 26:1. story of my mission. story of my life :) :) :) love it.

in other news...... i love this land. & i love being a missionary.

(i guess that really isn't news anymore is it..........)

oh hey. guess what happens this week? november 14, 2013. guess what happened november 14, 2012?

yeah. when did THAT happen????? #notokay #yearmark

craziness. whaterr. :) :)

so tuesday it was beautiful washington rain & so sister butler & i went to starbucks & i got a peppermint steamer & a FREE SAMPLE (i love free food!!!!) of the most delicious donut of my life. it was magical :) :)

thursday we taught a lesson over texting........ our friend is always too busy to let us come see her, but she was texting us back so i'm like whatever sister...... i'm gonna teach you about prayer right now over this text. and will i invite you to pray, using "will you" language? youbetcha i will. and will my companion promise you blessings over text? YOUBETCHA. :) :) so that was fun. yayyyy, creativity??????

oh SPEAKING of creativity, we have had the funnest lessons of my LIFE this week.

so my dear friend k... well first of all, i have to apologize for being skimpy in my letters.... we just deal a lot with people's personal lives, especially lately, and i don't really feel like that should be all over the internet?? (because soooooo many people read these letters i'm sure... haha. but still) :) but i will just tell you that i love k. like SO MUCH. she's the one who got married in august!! :) :) anyways i love her. and she has been strugglin but that is okay because i love her. tuesday we went to fazzoli's (italian fast food place where she works) during her break and did she smoke a ciagrette? YES despite our best efforts to distract her with rock paper scissors ugly face. did we follow her out into the rain and chase her down and love her anyways? YES. wednesday we had a lesson with her where we just looked at pictures of the Savior (thank you for the gospel art book!!!!!!!!!!!!!) & talked about them. FRIDAY was my favorite. we took her HEART-ATTACKING with us & s to some other friends in the ward who could use the cheering up and it was SO FUN and we all wrote scriptures that we liked on the hearts and then afterwards we got toms popcorn and ice cream and it was delicious fun land. YEAH SERVICE. it was seriously soooooo fun. :) :) :) i love k & s & missionary land :) :) and then YESTERDAY. oh my family. i am so proud of this hahaha. so she (k) loves this game on her phone where you like.... hack portals?? whatever. there's like levels & stuff. so we have turned the gospel lifestyle (directions for living joyfully!!!) into a game of secret missions. we write their missions on post-it notes or text them, and when they complete the mission they unlock a new one and we have sound effects & bonus points & it's just really fun :) :) :) tonights secret mission: fhe. they have 3 options. they said they'd do it :) :) (they = k & her husband j. also a recent convert. also i love them.) :) :) so THAT'S been fun :) :) #sistermissionarywork.

family, this is something that i've realized.

i'm a different person than i was a year ago. not drastically different (i don't think??) but significantly different (i hope.) one of the major differences i hope to continue & that i wish i would've learned sooner is to always be looking for opportunities to serve in small ways... to reach out of my "bubble." every sunday we pray to see those who need an extra hug or smile or chat. we seek out those who are lonely, who are struggling, who are depressed, and we sit with them. looking around the cultural hall at a ward activity i'm no longer looking for people who like me, who i'm comfortable with... i'm looking for someone who needs to be uplifted. where am i needed, who can i serve... rather than where will i fit in. i'm obviously not perfect at it, but i'm trying & i wish i'd started sooner. :) :)

speaking of things i wish i'd started sooner....... SPANISH. seriously. note to my past self: LEARN SPANISH. YOU WILL USE IT ON YOUR ENGLISH-SPEAKING MISSION. seriously sooooooooo muchhhhhhhhhh i wish i knew spanish. also asl. MAJORLY USEFUL. we've been trying to teach in spanish this week haha we'll definitely be using the members........ also missionaries. keep up on your mission language!!! the Lord will use your skills in the future :) :)

hmmmmm what else....... oh. i love the Book of Mormon because it teaches me truth about my Savior and that helps me to know Him better which makes my life better. I didn't realize for a long time the simple & amazing truths taught in the Book of Mormon that have completely shaped my life!! i've just... always known them. didn't know i had the Book of Mormon to thank for that!! it's a miracle :) :)

one night we had double dinners. i am fat. :( :(

everybody smokes. we're working on it.

OH, going back to service........ we went & visited a sweet sister this week who said that us coming was just what she needed & how did we know & perfect timing & all that....... and as missionaries that happens a lot (this is kinda all we do.....) but this is what i realized: we went to visit her because her visiting teacher recommended it. remember that quote... God does love us, and He watches over us; but it is usually through another person that He meets our needs? 1) I LOVE BEING THAT OTHER PERSON. 2) i don't mean to spoil our secret but........ home & visiting teaching. home teachers and visiting teachers who really watch over & care about their families & sisters? I HAVE A TESTIMONY OF THAT. so amazing. so inspired. i just love this gospel <3 <3

I LOVE HELPING PEOPLE. i'm not perfect at it but i'm trying!!!!!! & i love them!!!!!!!! sooo much :) :) :) I love being a missionary and being able to do this full-time!!!!!! what a blessing!!!!!! :) :) :)

other things: i think i found the nephite's secret password. read galatians 5:1. and then alma 58-61. also mosiah 23. IT IS COOL AND I LOVE IT. :) :)

also, a veteran's day scripture for you all: alma 61:15. "the Spirit of God... is the spirit of freedom." :) :)

okay family. i think that's all. WHAT A WEEK. i love it. OH i almost forgot to tell you... did we teach the relief society lesson last sunday with 30 minutes notice? YES WE DID. did we invite the entire relief society to commit to something? yes we did :) :) :) :) #missionarywork #boombaby :) :) love it.

okay now i really think that's all. we're just doin our best to help this ward. we love them so much. sister silva is amazing and i love her. she's a newbie too! been out just 3 months last week :) :) so lovely. i love this wisconsin land. i love being here. i love you all soooooooooo much. what a WONDERFUL plan of happiness we have been given. i testify (yes i am soooooo sister missionary right now #yearmark #whatever) that is IS the plan of happiness. i promise you that it is. I KNOW IT. with everything that i have i know it. now i just have to live it :) :)

LOVE YOU FAMILY SO SO MUCH. you are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me :) :) :)

LOVE YOU FOREVER (thanks to the plan of salvation) ;)

xoxoxoxoxox

sister cece proffit :) :) :)

also (this is for everyone) sabbath day holy traditions that i love:

inviting a family over for sunday dinner

taking treats around to friends on sundays :)

NOT me!!!!!!!! haha for like the first time ever.......... it's weird!! i'm staying and busting, which means i'm the new sister's 2nd companion. so once again, something i've never done before haha :) this week was prrrrrretty good! i left my notes of what i wanted to say at home so this should be interesting haha we'll see how good my memory is ;)  it's a crazy week because it's transfer week!!! i fwd'd mom & dad the transfer board. sister butler is going to pc!. supposedly it's really pretty though haha :) :) i'll miss her!!! and the neeeexxxxxxxtttt transfer is the week before Christmas (yup, only 7 more weeks till Christmas!!!) sooooooooo..... i might be getting transferred that week haha. we'll see :) :) apparently there's a work for me in appleton still/again so i'm excited to see what it is :) :)

hey, wanna hear a cool story?? so i sent you all those pictures of our trunk because it turns out sister butler's favorite holiday is halloween and i am the halloween grinch so i just let her go wild and it turned out to be AWESOME because this is what happened. so we set up our trunk with flashing lights & music & glitter & passalong cards & dvds & pamphlets & copies of the Book of Mormon & told the kids they had to give them to their friends. trunk or treat is tuesday. wednesday we get a text from the bishop's wife saying that their girls had brought their friend i to trunk or treat and she had grabbed a Book of Mormon from us, taken it home, and wanted to read it! so now her mom is asking sister w allllllllllll about the church & it's awesomeness :) :) yaaaaayyy trunk-or-treating!! #reversetracting #miracles ;) :) love it hahaha.

this is how halloween was: weekly planning. dinner with sister h {bff<3). then dinner with the k & the elders. yes, we had two dinners. :) :) also, it was POURING rain so we only saw like 2 trick-or-treaters haha. halloween is the funniest missionary holiday becaaaaaaause we can't go outside after 4 hahaha. unless we're in an appointment. so it was fun times :)
