I love milk mustaches.
I love drinking milk straight out of the jug.
I love drinking milk instead of nasty utah poison water.
I put extra milk on my cereal so that i can drink it.
I make brownies so that i can have an excuse to drink more milk 
{really, that's why i do it...}
I put milk on my ice cream, because it makes it all crystal-y. 
{milk on ice cream is THE best thing. straight from the clouds of heaven.}

1. it’s like giving a thumbs-up to the world
2. it shows approval or agreement without even having to say anything
3. it makes people feel good about their comments
4. i actually do like a lot of things
5. i believe in expressing approval
6. things make me laugh. thus, i like them.
7. i believe in validating other people’s attempts at humor and/or wit
8. liking is virtually risk-free. creepy “liking” is rarely called out or commented on, giving me the freedom to “like” the comments of veritable strangers without fear of my creepiness being brought to attention. in the case of comments on a wall post, there isn’t even an option to comment on said liking. leaving me free to like, show my appreciation, and move on.
9. liking comments does not result in billions of notifications afterwards, which results in a sort of “why not like this” attitude.
10. i like to imagine that it makes someone’s day a tiiiiinyyy bit brighter to have their comment “liked.” a post not liked is a post under-appreciated, in my opinion. if it is funny, witty, or otherwise like-worthy, why not let them know? all it takes is the click of a button :)

• cold foods have negative calories... naturally.
• it's less calories to eat it with a fork.
• eat in the dark. if you can't see it then you're basically eating nothing.
• hot fudge burns calories.
• adding bananas to ice cream makes it healthy... practically a salad...
• peanut m&ms = healthy snack.
• hot foods are great for you because the calories get burnt for you.
• white ice cream is good because white is the color of nothing, signifying no calories.
• fruit ice cream, healthy, duh, it's fruit.
• chocolate is made from beans, meaning vegetable, meaning health.
• mint, tastes like toothpaste, health.
• ice cream is dairy. pure health.

what my best friend has taught me

Today I said goodbye to my best friend as she goes off to college. I'm going to miss her sooooooooooO much. So I wanted to write down everything I've learned from her while here presence is still fresh in my mind haha :)

She has taught me:

To be loud and outgoing if  you want to make friends
Best friends think of the other first
Best friends means you're just as happy pushing the swing or sitting in it
Do things you never thought you could do
Best friends love each other!
Don't take yourself too seriously
Confidence is everything. Just believe in yourself and go for it!
If you want to have fun you have to try new things
Be bold
Fashion sense!
Work it.
Love means you love everything about the other person - even and especially because of their imperfections
She knows everything about me and for some reason still likes me
Laugh out loud!  don't be afraid
It's okay to have fun and take fun classes. It doesn't have to be work work work all the time. Do your best in class though.
When making friends, it's your responsibility to be positive and outgoing and nice and friendly.
Be yourself! Better than then to have people like someone you're not.
Live out loud. Buy clothes, fun clothes tat you love, and don't be afraid to wear them! just work it. It will become your style.
Buy the shoes.
If you don't love it, throw it out.
