Arthur likes weird dresses. Like cement that fades to light cement that fades to mermaid… large enough to hold a baby inside with me. No joke.
I’m more awkward than I ever thought I could be
Wearing matching outfits makes me extremely uncomfortable

The best place to hide a dress? In the 3x plus size section. No one ever looks there. (I hope…..)

once upon a time we didn't have a teacher in sunday school so (instead of being responsible church-goers and joining another class) we played hangman. but we used church words to make it okay. anyways we were playing and i was guessing... and on the board was:

...and i could not think of what it was. because all i could hear in my head was savi-o and i kept thinking of pasta and italian mob bosses. so i gave up, and i lost, and everyone laughed at me.

oh, how He loves

I can't imagine what it would feel like to honestly think that Heavenly Father didn't love me. That is the deepest most basic, purest, simplest part of my testimony. And I think sometimes we take that knowledge for granted in the church. Every Sunday me and all the other young women stand up and say, "We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us." That basic truth is so important, and vital! Everything in the gospel relates back to it. Oh if I could just implant one simple truth in everyone's brain, it would be that God loves them, absolutely and unconditionally. I know absolutely that God is real and that we are His beloved spirit children, and that He loves us infinitely and eternally and unconditionally. Everything in the gospel comes back to the love of Christ and God. Even if we reject them and work against them, their love remains. Always. It's incredible. I feel so blessed to know this. I need to share this with other people. God is love :)

what my best friend has taught me

Today I said goodbye to my best friend as she goes off to college. I'm going to miss her sooooooooooO much. So I wanted to write down everything I've learned from her while here presence is still fresh in my mind haha :)

She has taught me:

To be loud and outgoing if  you want to make friends
Best friends think of the other first
Best friends means you're just as happy pushing the swing or sitting in it
Do things you never thought you could do
Best friends love each other!
Don't take yourself too seriously
Confidence is everything. Just believe in yourself and go for it!
If you want to have fun you have to try new things
Be bold
Fashion sense!
Work it.
Love means you love everything about the other person - even and especially because of their imperfections
She knows everything about me and for some reason still likes me
Laugh out loud!  don't be afraid
It's okay to have fun and take fun classes. It doesn't have to be work work work all the time. Do your best in class though.
When making friends, it's your responsibility to be positive and outgoing and nice and friendly.
Be yourself! Better than then to have people like someone you're not.
Live out loud. Buy clothes, fun clothes tat you love, and don't be afraid to wear them! just work it. It will become your style.
Buy the shoes.
If you don't love it, throw it out.
Be happy!
Best friends are the best.
Think of others more than yourself.
Be who you are and say what you want, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
Take care of yourself. Look cute for you.
Shopping can be fun.
Sing it girl! Sing out loud. be proud.
Have fun!! Enjoy life.
Don't kiss the boy just cuz he's nice and he wants to kiss you. don't like him just cuz he likes you.
It's okay to like boys. And to say "crampies."
Best friends don't have to be exactly alike.
Exercise is healthy and it can be fun.
It's okay to spend money.
If you think you can do it, you can.
Dance! Dance crazy and fun. Be crazy and fun sometimes. :) Be yourself and people will like you. 
Wear fun clothes with confidence and class and people think it's great.
Live and love the gospel!
Insecurities and fears are okay
Develop your talents
Look for talents you didn't know you had.
Act like you have confidence and it will come :)
Just be chill :)
Give because you want to
God gave us best friends so that we could experience pure love - a teeny tiny itsy bitsy glimpse of the love he has for us.
Best friends are like a pair of socks - it's just not the same without the other one :)
Be a light. Lift others up, make them feel good about themselves.
Be open.
Be a rebel somtimes :)
Go for the high note! Go for it!
